The 2nd #EUpilot: Bloggers at the EU Council
Update: See the discussion and questions posed on Joe’s blog post on “Comment is Free” of the Guardian. See also Ron’s post on “The schizophrenic Council“. Also see the blog post with relevant resources.
Bloggingportal.eu editors and bloggers Joe (@litterbasket) and Ron (@ronpatz) have been invited by the Council to cover this Thursday’s Extraordinary Justice and Home Affairs Council in the second round of the #EUpilot project of bloggers at the Council.
During the last round, we were live-blogging and tweeting two days from the Competitiveness and Foreign Affairs Councils: Day 1 & Day 2.
This Council meeting will be focused on migration, in particular related to the current situation in the south of the EU – a situation that made Berlusconi and Sarkozy call for the reinstallment of border controls in the Union.
Follow us here and on Twitter as well as @bloggingportal and the hashtag #EUpilot to be kept up-to-date. And feel free to suggest questions we should ask, information we should look for or help us to find documents we and all readers should be aware of ahead of this Council.
PS.: On Thursday evening, there’ll also be the 5th bloggers meeting with the Hungarian Presidency. The recordings from the last one can be found here.
